Precious 7 To 8mm Bodhi Prayer Beads, Sakyapa, Rinpoche, Khenpo, Lama Japa Mala

These rare Bodhi seeds (Buddha Chitta) come from the sacred region of Timal, Nepal, long respected in Himalayan Buddhist tradition for producing authentic bodhi malas used by monks, lamas and Vajrayana practitioners. These are also very strong seeds that are meant to be for passing down future holders. The oldest mala we saw with our lama is about 48 years old and still shine like a crystal and looks new. So, we can say the beads will last at least 50+ years, but also depends on your use and care.

Steeped in ancient mysticism, these authentic Bodhi chitta beads carry a lineage dating back to the 8th century. According to sacred oral tradition, Guru Rinpoche, the "Precious Master" who brought Buddhism to Tibet, hand-planted three miraculous seeds in the Temal region of Nepal during his Himalayan travels. From those original seeds sprouted the rare bodhi trees found nowhere else on Earth. Each bead harvested from this ancestral grove serves as a living connection to that divine origin, offering practitioners a piece of Himalayan history and a powerful tool for awakening the "mind of enlightenment."

Each bead is natural measures approximately 7 to 8 mm and remains completely natural and unaltered. The color, density, and natural eye formations are signs of premium quality Bodhi seeds, something that is increasingly difficult to source and made available.
